National History Museum

This museum will allow you to understand Chile´s history, recognizing the various identities that are part of our cultural system, from our past before the Spanish conquest, all the way to our current political system.

National Museum of Fine Arts

It´s one of the most important cultural centers of the country. It has an artistic heritage of over 3000 pieces, such as the main collection of Chilean sculpture and an ample painting exhibition, with works of art of over 200 years.

National Library

This building, located downtown Santiago, is not only the biggest bibliographic archiver of the country, but also a National Monument thanks to its innovative architecture, representative of the French neoclassic style.

Numismatic Museum of the Central Bank of Chile

La Moneda Presidential Palace

La Moneda Presidential Palace is one of the most important buildings in the country, since it symbolizes the executive power in Chile, and it is the place where the current president works and exercises his leadership.

Built in 1805, it was originally designed so that the president lived with his family and worked in the same place. Today it is not the president’s personal residence, but it remains as his official work office. It is an essential part of the republican history of Chile and a National Monument.

Normally La Moneda is not open to the public (with the exception of National Heritage Day, where it is possible to visit it), so Google Street View created a possibility of touring through its rooms. These ones are not only full of art and objects of great value but offers the chance to understand part of the historical-political past of Chile.
