Now that story has a new chapter: Vozinha settled in Santiago to join Colo Colo, and his arrival already generated excitement among the fans who welcomed him at the airport.

Santiago, with the mountains always present
Vozinha will train and live in Santiago, a city where the Andes Mountains are present every day, appearing at the end of almost any street. From San Cristóbal Hill, the capital’s most popular viewpoint, you can see the entire city at a glance with the snow-capped mountains behind it, something especially striking during the winter months. The same happens from the Sky Costanera viewpoint, which offers an incredible view of the capital.
The Cape Verdean footballer will find a modern city with good connectivity and a great food scene. And when he wants to disconnect from the city rhythm, he doesn’t have to go far: in less than an hour he reaches Cajón del Maipo, with mountain villages, rivers, and hot springs.

Atacama Desert
If anything can contrast with the green and volcanic landscape of Cabo Verde, it’s the Atacama Desert, the driest on the planet. San Pedro de Atacama, the town that serves as a base for exploring it, offers access from there to the Valle de la Luna, with salt and clay formations that look like they’re from another planet.
Add to this the El Tatio Geysers, one of the highest geothermal fields in the world, and the Atacama Salt Flat, home to three species of flamingos and the impressive Chaxa Lagoon. And at night, the altitude and dry air make this area one of the best places in the world for stargazing.

Patagonia and Torres del Paine
Chilean Patagonia offers otherworldly landscapes. Torres del Paine National Park, with its iconic granite towers and diverse wildlife, is one of the most recognized trekking destinations worldwide. Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas serve as gateways to this wonderful destination.
On the other hand, the Carretera Austral runs more than 770 kilometers between Puerto Montt and Villa O’Higgins, crossing fjords, glaciers, native forests, and small towns full of magic.

How to see Vozinha? Guide for international tourists
For those visiting Chile hoping to see Vozinha play, the first piece of information is the stadium: Colo Colo plays at home at Estadio Monumental David Arellano, located in the Macul district of Santiago. Tickets for this team’s matches are sold officially through PuntoTicket, the platform authorized by the club.
An important point for foreign tourists: stadium entry usually requires prior registration with facial recognition through the club’s official system, plus presentation of a valid identity document: Chilean ID for locals or passport for international visitors. It’s best to buy in advance, as high-demand matches tend to sell out quickly.
