Equipo Chile Travel

We want you to marvel at the tourist and natural attractions of Chile from your arrival in our country and start a never-ending journey!

When you move between the national and international terminals at Arturo Merino Benítez airport in Santiago, you will find a photographic facility called Chile a Never-ending Journey.

You will have in front of you, through a careful selection of images, the wonderful textures, colors, and landscapes that Chile offers from north to south.

In each photo, just as in each water drop that flows across Chile, a unique story of the landscape which it is part of, the community that lives there thanks to this source, and the territory that forms and deforms with its patient work is reflected.

The water cycle has no beginning nor end, but as a resource it is not infinite. Help us take care of it while you travel around Chile in a sustainable way!

Travel around Chile on a Never-ending Journey

This impressive photographic facility will also make your journey across Chile easier because you will find itineraries and descriptions of each of the places shown through interactive QR codes placed on the different panels.

1. Altiplanic Lagoons

In the northern part of Chile, specifically in the Arica Region (access through the Tarapacá Region), you will visit the Amuyo Lagoon or Red Lagoon that is located in the middle of the desert.

2. Green Patagonia rivers

In the south of Chile, unlike the north, you will see extensive forests of native species, which are unique in the world, that have witnessed the formation of the planet Earth as we currently know it.

This setting is interrupted only by the water flow, which becomes clear in the Rivers of Chile, a web series that shows the main affluents of our country, such as the Futaleufú river located in the middle of the green Patagonia.

3. Snow in the Andean Araucanía

Between forests of millenary monkey puzzle trees and enormous mountains, we invite you to discover the pristine landscapes of the Andean Araucanía.

You will be surrounded by volcanoes like the Lonquimay or Llaima, which are covered by a white mantle during the winter.

4. Aysén rivers

In the Aysén Region, located in the southern part of Chile, you can see one of the most beautiful natural events that exists, when the rivers Baker and Neff converge and present a show full of colors.

5. Chilean Sea

With over 6,000 kilometers of coastline, Chile has beautiful beaches, extensive kelp forests, and impressive navigable fjords that are the access point to millennial glaciers.

6. Ice in the extreme south

In the southern part of Chile, where the Northern Ice Fields and the Chilean Antarctic are located, water is a quiet witness to the changes on our planet. Two of the three main freshwater resources on Earth are located in this corner of Chile, whose icy landscapes move those who adventure to discover them. What are you waiting for to visit this area?
