Las Animas Waterfall

Visit Las Animas Waterfall in a protected nature sanctuary.  Here you will find a tourist center with multiple services that will make your stay a unique experience in contact with nature.  Tour the famous trail of to the Cascada de las Ánimas, where you can photograph, admire and enjoy the beauty of the Andes.  The center also includes a variety of services.

Las Animas Waterfall

The Casablanca Valley, a few kilometers from Valparaíso, route 68, also offers a vineyard environment, visiting wineries, tasting Syrah and Premium reserve wines and the best white wines of Chile; you can also join bicycle tours to tour the vineyards or follow the trails to climb Casablanca’s hills.

How to get there by air

The main air gateway is Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL), located in Santiago. From there, the itinerary begins directly toward Cajón del Maipo, less than one hour from the city center. Santiago offers direct air connections from the Americas, Europe, and other South American destinations.

How to get there by land

From Santiago, Cajón del Maipo can be reached by private vehicle or tour services via Route G-25. To reach the Casablanca Valley, continue west along Route 68, which connects Santiago with Valparaíso. The total distance is short, allowing the itinerary to be completed without long transfers.

Climate and clothing

From May to September, temperatures are generally cold, with possible snowfall in mountain areas. It is recommended to wear layered clothing, a warm jacket, sturdy closed footwear, and sun protection for outdoor activities.

Must-Know Tips

If you are visiting from abroad, consider purchasing travel insurance with coverage in Chile. Always carry some cash, as ATMs may not be available in certain areas. Traveling during the low season is recommended to avoid crowds and higher costs. Check current travel restrictions before your trip.
