Chile is world-renowned for its quality wines, and the grape harvest festivals are an unmissable opportunity this 2025 to taste our grape varieties.

Every year, between February and May, the main wine regions in the country host events to commemorate the grape harvest, the first step in creating our famous wines.

Find out when they will be held and learn about our main wine-producing valleys.

Valle de Colchagua Grape Harvest

In the heart of the central zone, the Colchagua Valley is a true icon of Chilean wine production with world-class wineries such as Viña Santa Cruz, VIK, Casa Silva, Los Vascos, Las Niñas, Viu Manent, Lapostolle, and Montgras, among others.

All of them will converge at the Colchagua Grape Harvest Festival, which will be held in the Plaza de Armas in Santa Cruz, O’Higgins Region, on March 7th, 8th & 9th, 2025.

You can reach Santa Cruz from Santiago by Ruta 5 Sur and then take Ruta I-90.

Valle de Curicó Grape Harvest

The Valle Curicó Grape Harvest is known for being the oldest in Chile, and you will have the opportunity to experience it during your next visit to our country.

This fertile valley is less than three hours from Santiago if you take Ruta 5 to the south. You can also get there by bus and train run by EFE.

The Curicó Grape Harvest Festival will be held in the Plaza de Armas between March 21st and 23rd.

Valle de Casablanca Grape Harvest

One hour from Santiago on Ruta 63, the Casablanca Valley is considered one of the 10 wine capitals of the world. This is mainly because its cold climate and proximity to the coast allow for the production of excellent white wines, such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, and striking red wines, such as Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc.

This year, 2025, the Valle Casablanca Grape Harvest will be held on April 5th and 6th in the center of this district, specifically in its central square.

Valle de Aconcagua Grape Harvest

The Aconcagua Valley offers numerous grape arbors and vineyards with slow but constant ripening. This guarantees wine with ripe, fuller-bodied flavors compared to those produced in other parts of Chile.

The Valle Aconcagua Grape Harvest Festival will be held on March 29th at the Centro Recreacional los Manantiales Panquehue.

It is 98 kilometers from Santiago on Ruta 57, Autopista Los Libertadores.

Valle del Maipo Grape Harvest

Isla de Maipo is about 50 kilometers from Santiago, the Chilean capital. It is easy to reach by private vehicle or bus from the San Borja terminal in Estación Central.

The Isla de Maipo Harvest Festival 2025 will be held between April 25th and 27th in the Metropolitan Region (location to be confirmed).

You can enjoy tastings, typical handicrafts, grape treading, and live folk, classical, jazz, and rock music.
