A sua enorme cratera de mais de um quil\u00f3metro de di\u00e2metro cont\u00e9m um lago de \u00e1gua doce coberto de totora, criando uma paisagem visualmente \u00fanica. <\/p>\n\n<p>A aldeia cerimonial de Orongo situa-se na borda da fal\u00e9sia, um s\u00edtio fundamental para a hist\u00f3ria local.
