We toured the city looking for the best hidden places and also the most traditional ones. On form all our experience, we created this guide of what to do in Santiago in 3 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start planning your journey!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to do in Santiago&nbsp;Day 1: Historic Centre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La Moneda:&nbsp;<\/strong>The Historic Center is the ideal place to start touring the things to do in Santiago in 3 days, because is one of the most vibrant areas on the city. We recommend you start touring in front of the La Moneda Palace (Metro Station: La Moneda), the Chilean government palace. On the road, you can\u2019t miss walking Paseo Bandera! Is one of the most interesting museum we have visited in the city (and we have visited a lot!), with beautiful native art collections of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mercado Central:&nbsp;<\/strong>It\u2019s lunch time and there\u2019s still lots to do in Santiago of Chile! Go to the Mercado Central (Metro Station: Cal y Canto) to taste typical sea-food dishes, all fresh and with the most Chilean style. In here you\u2019ll also find fresh fruit, \u201cempanadas\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/chile.travel\/en\/what-to-do\/wine-and-good-food\/typical-food\">typical Chilean food<\/a>) and local handicrafts. Going up is easy, but it is worth to cheer up with a nice \u201cmote con huesillo\u201d, typical Chilean drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lastarria Neighborhood:\u00a0<\/strong>Going downhill, you\u2019ll find <a href=\"https:\/\/chile.travel\/en\/attractions\/lastarria-and-bellas-artes-neighborhood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lastarria Neighborhood<\/a> (Metro Station: Universidad Cat\u00f3lica), on of the bohemian and artistic neighborhoods where you can enjoy street music, exhibitions, museum and handicrafts. We are ending this first day of things to do in Santiago of Chile in 3 days, but you can\u2019t leave without tasting a good roses ice-cream (yes! Made of rose petals!) and an Ulmo Honey ice-cream at the Emporio La Rosa Artisan Ice Cream Shop. The North Pedro de Valdivia Avenue (Metro Station: Pedro de Valdivia) ends at the foot of the San Crist\u00f3bal Hill and right there you\u2019ll find the entrance to the Metropolitan Park Cable Car. This way you can ride to the top of the hill and tour the different viewpoints with wonderful views of Santiago. And that\u2019s not all! In San Crist\u00f3bal Hill you can also visit the Japanese Garden, the Mapulemu Garden and many other paths to walk. And if not, anyway we recommend a visit to Sky Costanera, this is the highest viewpoint of South-America, at 300 meters high and with a great panoramic view of the whole city.
