Declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, it is famous for the visit of Charles Darwin in 1834, who studied the Chilean Palm and was fascinated by its uniqueness. <\/p>\n\n<p>Its main accesses (Granizo, Caj\u00f3n Grande and Ocoa) offer trekking routes to Cerro La Campana.
