If you are traveling to Temuco, you cannot miss out on visiting Cerro Ñielol. Soak in Southern Chile’s nature with its forests full of Chilean acorn trees (peumo), boldo trees, olivillo trees, oak trees, bay trees, and ulmo trees.
You just might get to see endemic fauna if you are lucky, such as the South American gray fox, rufous-tailed hawk, Chilean slender snake, and the Chilean four-eyed frog. From the summit you can behold all of Temuco and catch an incredible glimpse from up high.
