This emblematic festival to celebrate Chile’s culture and history attracts representatives of different styles of national folklore, as well as artists invited from other countries, such as Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia. Every year the mythical El Patagual Park is covered with Chilean rural culture and is transformed into a stage for honoring traditional music through a contest involving specific themes, and where composer, singers, and stand-up comedians show the best of Chile’s folkloric roots.
